During his tenure as CEO of Kennedy and Coe (2003-2013), Kurt’s focus was on how Kennedy and Coe can most effectively live its mission: “To Enhance the Well Being of Our People and the Clients We Serve.”
Once introduced to Ron Baker and other Verasage Fellows in 2007, Kurt led Kennedy and Coe on a journey to adopt “The Value Creation Process” that aligns the firm’s business model with its mission and concepts espoused by Verasage Institute. Kurt received his bachelors and masters degree from Fort Hays State University and has been with Kennedy and Coe since graduating from college. He has been active during his career in professional associations, having served the Kansas Society of CPAs as a Board Member, President, and other committees.
