CPE Link Press Release

Our good friend Kurtis Docken, who used to work with the California CPA Education Foundation, recently joined a new company, CPE Link, a new provider of Web based education for CPAs.I have known Kurtis since 1994, and he is one of the reasons I began teaching with the Foundation. He took a chance on a complete nobody back in 1995 by letting me teach my very first 8 hour CPE course: How to Build A Successful Practice with Total Quality Service. After that he let me expand into Value Pricing, Economics, Tax Reform, and many other topics that were on the edge. Dan, Paul O'Byrne, and I have been fortunate to work with Kurtis, consider him a dear friend, and are very excited about his new venture. VeraSage hopes to be able to offer innovative programs through CPE Link in the future. In that spirit, here is the Press Release Kurtis sent us yesterday announcing his new company:PRESS RELEASEContact: Sue Anderson, Program DirectorCPE Link170 Knowles Dr. #202Los Gatos, CA 95032408-583-0372 ext. 130sue.anderson@cpelink.comFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECPE Link: New Provider of Web-Based Training for CPAsLos Gatos, California—June 30, 2008CPE Link is a new provider of web-based continuing professional education (CPE) for accounting professionals, firms, and associations.
