Hourly Billers Beware

In addition to Ron's excellent post on lawyer's where the Chief Justice of the Australian Supreme Court called for the end to the "tyranny of the billable hour," comes this from WebCPA - Intuit Survey: Accountants' Hourly Rates Up.Buried in the fifth paragraph is this, "Additionally, the survey showed that more than 35 percent of all respondents offered at least one fixed-fee service, which is an increase of about 3 percent over last year."The tide is turning.
